                        Improving the Quality and Relevance of Basic Education

                        The delivery of quality education is one of the school major concerns. To improve the efficiency and                                        effectiveness of the system, the school has been implementing the following programs and projects.

                        a. Integration of Values Education in all learning areas

                        b. Reading Programs in Filipino and English

                        c. Review classes for students with high mathematical ability (MTAP)

                        d. Close monitoring of classroom instructions in all learning areas

                        e. Regular professional meetings regarding current issues and  concerns and other school matters (PLC)

                        f. Dropout Reduction Program thru the Home Extension Learning Program (HELP)

 

 

SPECIAL PROGRAMS

·       School Feeding Program. Supplementary feeding by means of free snacks/ lunch to identified severe and moderately underweight Grade 7 students through SVNHS canteen funds.

 

§  Remedial Program. (Mathematics, Filipino, and English)All remedial programs aims to improve the reading proficiency of Grade 7 students in both English and Filipino and enhance their arithmetic skills which is a necessity in developing Algebra concepts.

 

§  Advance Program. The advance program are for mathematically inclined students. In the program, their mathematical skills will be further enhanced so that they can compete in Mathematics contests such as MTAP and Math Olympiad.
