In the same manner, we give attention to learners who need intervention to cope with the mastery of target competencies with the following programs:

The school offers Alternative Delivery Modes such as the Open High School Program (OHSP) and Alternative Learning System (ALS) for Out-of-School Youth, working students and parents and those who would like to get their high school certificate but cannot attend regular school. Students at risk of dropping out were encouraged to enroll in the ADMs. The Dropout Rate has been maintained to zero because of the strengthened Alternative Delivery Modes.

The TRACE (Teaching Reading as a Challenging Endeavor) Program started as an intervention for Grade 7 students to elevate their reading comprehension skills to instructional level. Likewise, the school has Numeracy Intervention Program in Mathematics to address their difficulty in the mastery of the basic Mathematical skills. The school has been implementing the Project SPArC (SVNHS Performing Arts Circle) to further fortify the special interest program and to cater and showcase the diverse talents of the students.

Literacy Mapping is conducted in the barangay and other catchment areas during the summer vacation to encourage them to go back to school and alleviate the number of out of school youth and or adults.

Interventions such as National School Deworming Day and School-Based Feeding Program are implemented to address the needs of malnourished children. Other interventions are done to address the needs of students with health problems such as Adolescent-Based Immunization (DT-MR), Weekly OL Trap Planting and Reading, Dengue School Campus Clean-up and other Health Information Advocacies.

Recognizing the significant roles of internal and external stakeholders, the school partners with them in the implementation of different programs and activities such as extra-curricular, co-curricular, meetings and assemblies. Moreover, they extend financial support in the different major school activities and volunteer works.

The school continues to deliver quality education and cope with the demand of the time. Music and Art Class as part of the Special Program for the Arts has been integrated in the class program of the school. Other school’s flagship programs continue its service to the school community.
